Kevin Kindret I got into construction right out of high school and started my carpentry apprenticeship soon after . Worked in Kelowna until 1982, then for a Kelowna based company but, all the work was out of town , but I did enjoy working and exploring Canada

while on the road . I finished my carpentry apprenticeship and moved to Calgary for a year and then Quesnel for a year. I ended up in Whistler Sept 15, 1986 and have never left. Lots of interesting work. Skied and partied for one hard year but paid for it for 3 years. I met my wife Linda in 1990 through the Whistler diving club and have been together since .We started our family late but after having Kristina born in 1999 Aug 25 I wonder why we waited . Linda is 43 and I'm 47 so it looks like no second kid. Since 2

000 I have gotten out of heavy construction , I now work for the Whistler Muni in building service. I feel like I'm starting a second life and really lucked out getting this job. I have a bulged disk in my back but because of the type of work I'm doing now, have not missed much work. I had to give up skiing since hurting back this year but played some hockey, but think I'm going to old timers this year. I did win a few championships but I don't think I can play hockey at 11:45 PM anymore and I got a few to many tripping and holding penalties in playoffs this year. Linda and I have not been diving for a few years but still enjoy boating, camping and road trip camping, and definitely after living in Whistler so long are country living people. I really hope to make one of the events and I think it will be me being a late show at the Ramada in 8:00PM . Cheers Kevin Kindret
